Rollin’ with my Gnomies Gnome Tree Pipe ceramic slip casting plaster Mold

disclaimer:We thoroughly inspect each piece for air bubbles, gaps, chips etc. due to the process of our mold making you may see light through a gap as our molds are flat all the way across not like traditional molds that still have this gap but cant be seen. mold has slight gap that can be seen in the pictures, as long as your slip is thick enough the mold should not leak however it may leak depending the consistency of your slip. solution is to roll a clay noodle and seal the small gap before filling, the finished cast comes out with amazing detail. Some of the tiny pieces may detach from the tree when removing from the mold but they can quickly and easily be re-attached with simple score slip weld technique. The seam lines are still minimal despite the visible gap which is worse at the edges where it can be seen but towards the inner casting area of the mold the gap is much less, When I filled this mold mine did not leak at all but I would still like to add this disclaimer and offer a discounted price. thanks for reading & happy Pouring!We will replace or exchange leaky, broken molds that cannot be used to cast a piece. once in awhile a mold may have a tiny air bubble that was missed at inspection and most times will not cause any issue on the casted piece, if it does please send us a picture of the cast piece if there is an issue and we will immediately replace and get you casting again!
